Are you passionate about working with children and ready to make a difference in their education? We are looking for a dedicated and friendly Teaching Assistant to join a thriving  primary school in High Wycombe. This is a fantastic opportunity to help support students in their learning and well-being in a positive, inclusive environment.

For the right candidate, this role has the potential to become permanent, but can also remain flexible if you're seeking a temporary position.
Requirements: 
  • Enthusiastic about working with children and supporting their educational journey
  • Confident in supporting children’s learning, whether in the classroom or on a one-to-one basis with students who may have additional needs
  • Able to create an inclusive learning environment that nurtures both academic progress and student well-being
  • A strong communicator who can build effective relationships with both students and colleagues
  • Adaptable, patient, and calm in different situations, including working with children who have varying needs
  • Committed to fostering equality and inclusivity within the school
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • A valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (or willingness to undertake one)
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the classroom, supporting the teacher with lesson delivery and student engagement
  • Work with individual students or small groups, including those with additional needs, to help them achieve their learning goals
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and SENDCO to promote academic, social, and emotional development
  • Provide feedback on student progress to the teacher and, where appropriate, the SENDCO and parents
  • Support the use of technology and resources to enhance student learning
  • Ensure the classroom is a safe, supportive, and welcoming space for all students

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well as the Right to Work in the UK. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
