As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include working closely with the class teacher to create a supportive learning environment, assisting in the planning and delivery of lessons, and providing one-on-one or small group support to students who may need extra guidance. You will also support students with any social, emotional, or behavioural needs, fostering a positive atmosphere in which children feel confident to explore new ideas and challenges.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities, catering to the individual needs of students.
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs or those requiring additional assistance.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment by promoting good behaviour and fostering a sense of belonging among students.
- Support the preparation and organisation of teaching materials, resources, and equipment.
- Assist with the assessment of student progress and provide feedback to the teacher to aid in individualised planning.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Strong organisational skills to assist in managing classroom activities and resources effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is preferred, but not essential.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check will be required to work with children.
- Relevant experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Any additional qualifications or training related to education or child development will be considered advantageous.
