A talented and adaptable PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) Cover Teacher is needed to join our team at an excellent primary school in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The best candidate will fill in for teaching staff during their PPA time, allowing for uninterrupted lessons for the students.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver organised lessons in an array of subject areas and levels of learning, in accordance with the school's curriculum and work schemes.
  • Maintain a positive and productive learning environment, which encourages students to learn while their regular teacher is absent.
  • Promote a respectful and inclusive classroom climate by subscribing to and maintaining the school's behaviour management policies.
  • Provide students with the necessary support and differentiation to meet their diverse learning requirements.
  • Complete required assessments and provide necessary feedback to regular classroom teachers.
Requirements:
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching across different year groups and subject areas.
  • Extensive familiarity with the national curriculum and relevant teaching methods.
  • Maintaining outstanding classroom management skills and the ability to preserve an atmosphere that fosters learning.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities that encourage positive relationships with pupils and coworkers.
