We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in Maidenhead. They are an outstanding school that will allow you to professionally grow. This role has is due to start ASAP and may go permanent for the right candidate. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with teachers and help make a meaningful impact on the educational journey of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
- Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils who need additional help
- Encourage positive social interactions and development
- Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
About You:
- Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting is advantageous
- Ability to communicate effectively with pupils, teachers, and parents
- A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach
- Commitment to helping all children succeed academically and socially
- Willingness to assist with SEN children (experience is beneficial but not essential)
