Responsibilities:
- Assisting with individual and small group work
- Supervising and facilitating activities during break times and lunchtime
- Providing feedback to the teacher on student progress and areas for improvement
- Supporting students with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with children in a classroom setting
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new teaching methods and approaches
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and learning
Qualifications:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is preferred, but not essential
- A valid Enhanced DBS check will be required to work with children
- Transferrable skills and experience in childcare
