Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to a student with special educational needs (ASD) on a one-to-one basis
- Assist the teacher in implementing individualised learning plans and accommodations
- Help to create and maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the child's academic and social development
- Collaborate with the teacher and other staff members to monitor the child's progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to provide updates on the child's development and address any concerns
- Experience working with children with special educational needs preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young learners
- Commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to learn and adapt to new strategies and techniques
