Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual with a passion for supporting children on an individual basis? We are seeking a caring and motivated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic educational team and provide personalised support to a child with specific learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the child on a one-to-one basis, providing targeted support to enhance their learning experience.
  • Implement and adapt educational strategies to meet the unique needs of the child.
  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher and other support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and track the progress of the child, providing feedback to the teaching team and parents/guardians as necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
  • A patient and empathetic approach, with a genuine passion for supporting children in their learning.
  • Knowledge of different learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and professionalism.
