We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their Year 6 team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a significant impact on the academic and personal development of our students as they prepare for the transition to secondary school.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum, tailored to meet the diverse needs of all students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued, supported, and motivated to achieve their best.
- Foster a love for learning through innovative teaching strategies, incorporating a variety of resources and technology to enhance the learning experience.
- Assess student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback and implementing targeted interventions to support individual learning goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to promote the holistic development of students and maintain open communication channels.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently enrolled in a recognised Initial Teacher Training (ITT) program leading to QTS.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum for Key Stage 2, particularly Year 6.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to creating a stimulating learning environment that inspires curiosity and promotes academic excellence.
- Dedication to continuous professional development and a willingness to embrace new ideas and teaching methodologies.
