We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Lead to join our team in our Slough Primary School and play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our youngest learners. As the EYFS Lead, you will lead and inspire a team of dedicated early years educators, ensuring the delivery of high-quality provision that meets the needs of all children. Our school is committed to a supported and inclusive environment for all children to achieve their best in. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the EYFS, ensuring the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
  • Lead and support a team of early years practitioners, providing guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate a rich and stimulating curriculum that promotes learning through play and exploration.
  • Monitor and assess the progress of all children in the EYFS, identifying areas for development and implementing targeted interventions where necessary.
Requirements: 
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years setting, with a strong understanding of EYFS principles and best practice.
  • Excellent knowledge of child development, pedagogy, and assessment within the early years.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Commitment to promoting a culture of inclusion, diversity, and equality within the EYFS provision.
