Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the EYFS, ensuring the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
- Lead and support a team of early years practitioners, providing guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate a rich and stimulating curriculum that promotes learning through play and exploration.
- Monitor and assess the progress of all children in the EYFS, identifying areas for development and implementing targeted interventions where necessary.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years setting, with a strong understanding of EYFS principles and best practice.
- Excellent knowledge of child development, pedagogy, and assessment within the early years.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Commitment to promoting a culture of inclusion, diversity, and equality within the EYFS provision.
