We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Reception Teaching Assistant to join our team in a primary school in Burnham. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Reception class teacher on a part-time basis and creating a positive and engaging learning environment for our youngest learners.
As a Reception Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities. You will work closely with individual children and small groups, providing additional support and guidance as needed. Your role will be instrumental in fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and a love for learning among the children. Additionally, you will help with classroom organisation and the preparation of teaching materials, ensuring a smooth and effective learning environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with young children, preferably within an educational setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working closely with children, parents, and colleagues. A patient, caring, and nurturing attitude towards children's learning and development is fundamental to this role.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well as the Right to Work in the UK. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
