Role:
As a Flexible Supply Teacher with Supply Hive, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering pre-prepared lessons and activities in line with the national curriculum.
- Providing a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel motivated to learn and succeed.
- Managing classroom behavior effectively to ensure a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborating with the school's teaching staff to ensure consistency and coherence in teaching practices.
- Supporting students' social and emotional development, fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion within the classroom community.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience working with primary school-aged children, preferably in Key Stage 1.
- Strong knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum and proficiency in delivering lessons across various subjects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students, colleagues, and parents effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic educational environment.
