The successful candidate will work as part of a team in an exciting nursery class! It is important that the candidate understands the value of having a focus on building confidence, encouraging social skills and developing learning through play.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher with developing engaging and creative lessons that promote the social, emotional and intellectual development of learners.
- Work in a team to ensure a safe and creative learning environment.
- Prioritise the children and encourage learning through play.
- Assist children with personal care tasks while ensuring their protection and well being as all times.
- Make observations and relay the development of children to the nursery teacher and/or parents.
Requirements:
- A L3 qualification or equivalent in Early Years Education is preferred but not required.
- Experience working with children in a comparable early years childhood setting.
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to work well in a team and communicate observations to teachers and parents.
- A nurturing and compassionate approach that aligns with the schools ethos of fostering the growth of young children.
Qualifications:
- A valid, Enhanced DBS on the Update service.
- Up-to-date safeguarding training.
- Skills that relate to childcare and working with children.

Pay: £80-£86.00 per day, PAYE & Holiday Pay.
