Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in designing and delivering engaging activities that foster the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children.
- Provide a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages children's exploration, independence, and curiosity.
- Assist children with personal care tasks while ensuring their protection and well-being at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and coworkers by collaborating with the staff to establish and maintain an inclusive and welcoming environment.
- Observe and evaluate the development of children, documenting their accomplishments and providing parents with feedback.
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent relating to Education/ childcare.
- Work experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a comparable early childhood setting.
- Knowledge and comprehension of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and early childhood education best practises.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the capacity to interact effectively with children, parents, and coworkers.
- A nurturing and compassionate approach, coupled with a genuine interest in fostering the growth of young children.
