An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join a Year 3 class at a local Primary school in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students and contributing to the overall success of our school community.

The school are an Ofsted 'Good' School with a strong Senior Leadership Team who have worked hard to foster a positive learning environment in which both students and staff can flourish. They are looking for a passionate teaching assistant to join their Year 3 class as a class based TA on a full time, long term role. 
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons across various subjects.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, tailored to their individual needs and learning objectives.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting good behaviour and encouraging student engagement.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience for all students.
  • Contribute to the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing valuable feedback to the class teacher.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a primary school setting.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to supporting student learning and well-being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A patient and nurturing approach, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • An understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • An Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service. 
  • Up to date safeguarding training. 
  • Level 2 childcare qualification is preferred, but not required.
