Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with individual and small group work
- Overseeing and facilitating activities during break and lunch periods
- Monitoring student progress and areas for development to relay to the teacher.
- Supporting students with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)
- Relevant prior or current experience working with children in a classroom setting.
- Adept communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and harmoniously with teachers and other staff for a seamless fit
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A positive approach to learning and adapting to new teaching methods.
- An energetic and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and learning.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check will be required to work with children.
- Transferable skills and experience in childcare.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well as the Right to Work in the UK. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
