We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a vibrant primary school in Windsor starting in September. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, working closely with teachers to raise the achievement and learning experiences of the children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver lessons to small groups or whole classes, as required.
  • Provide support to teachers in the preparation and delivery of learning activities.
  • Assist with the assessment and tracking of pupil progress.
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans for students who need additional support.
  • Supervise and manage pupil behaviour, promoting positive behaviour management strategies.
  • Support the development of a stimulating and safe learning environment.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities and interventions.
Requirements:
  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
  • A positive and proactive approach to problem-solving and challenges.
