Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver lessons to small groups or whole classes, as required.
- Provide support to teachers in the preparation and delivery of learning activities.
- Assist with the assessment and tracking of pupil progress.
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans for students who need additional support.
- Supervise and manage pupil behaviour, promoting positive behaviour management strategies.
- Support the development of a stimulating and safe learning environment.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities and interventions.
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
- A positive and proactive approach to problem-solving and challenges.
