We are currently working alongside a lovely school in West Maidenhead, who are currently recruiting for a KS1 Teaching Assistant. They are looking for someone to work full-time on a temporary basis, but this position has the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. The school are very supportive and are looking for someone who will act as a great role model and display initiative. They are also looking for a flexible individual who is willing to adapt teaching methods to suit their school ethos and values.
Responsibilities:
- Creating a positive learning environment for both students and staff.
- Leading engaging lessons, that encourage children to get involved and be imaginative.
- Working well in a team to create the best resources.
- Supporting children's social and cognitive skills and increasing their confidence.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid enhanced child DBS that is registered to the update service.
- Right to Work in the UK.
