Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and activities across Key Stage 2 during PPA time, ensuring the effective use of resources and materials.
- Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of diverse learners, promoting active participation and independent thinking.
- Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported in their learning.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support ongoing development and attainment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning and effective communication with the regular class teacher.
- Uphold school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behavior management, at all times.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Key Stage 2.
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across different year groups and subjects.
- Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
