Supply Hive are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join our team in a Junior School in Slough on a part-time basis to cover PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stage 2 in the absence of the regular class teacher.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons and activities across Key Stage 2 during PPA time, ensuring the effective use of resources and materials.
  • Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of diverse learners, promoting active participation and independent thinking.
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported in their learning.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support ongoing development and attainment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning and effective communication with the regular class teacher.
  • Uphold school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behavior management, at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Key Stage 2.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across different year groups and subjects.
  • Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
