Supply Hive are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a local school in Bracknell. To be successful you should be a confident and creative individual who has an interest in working with children. This role will start off as temporary but has a high potential of going permanent with good performance.

The school are looking for someone with a Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years or Childcare to support their breakfast/after school clubs. They are a bigger three form-entry school, with a highly supportive and involved team. They have a lot of green space and high focus on learning through sensory experiences. They are looking for someone to match their values: patience, support, kindness and respect.

This role occasionally involves supervising the pupils breakfast or after school clubs. You will also be responsible for supporting the children in their learning on a day to day basis. You may be paired with a child that you will support 1:1, you should be bale ot build a strong rapport with this child and build a good understanding of their needs. You will often be working with small groups of children and leading activities and sessions with them. You should be firm but supportive when helping children with their learning.

To be successful for this role you should have the following:
  • Level 3 Qualification in Early Years or Childhood studies
  • Relevant experience working with children
  • An enhanced child DBS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
