Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning activities within the school, contributing to the development and well-being of children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers in planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
- Lead small group activities and interventions to support childrens' academic progress.
- Assist in assessing and recording childrens' achievements and progress.
- Provide one-to-one support for children with additional learning needs.
- Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A passion for promoting positive learning experiences for children.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the schools.
- First Aid qualification.
- Experience with special educational needs (SEN) support.
- Knowledge of the national curriculum.
