At Supply Hive, we work with a group of dynamic and inclusive primary schools located in Slough. We believe in fostering a positive and collaborative environment where every child can thrive academically and socially and are looking for an experienced HLTA to join our team.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning activities within the school, contributing to the development and well-being of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support classroom teachers in planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Lead small group activities and interventions to support childrens' academic progress.
  • Assist in assessing and recording childrens' achievements and progress.
  • Provide one-to-one support for children with additional learning needs.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to enhance the overall educational experience.
Requirements:
  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A passion for promoting positive learning experiences for children.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the schools.
Desirable:
  • First Aid qualification.
  • Experience with special educational needs (SEN) support.
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum.
