Are you passionate about early childhood education? Do you have experience and expertise in teaching the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dedicated team as an EYFS Teacher at our welcoming and inclusive Infant School in Slough.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a vibrant and engaging learning environment for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities that promote holistic development across all areas of learning.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.
  • Implement effective strategies to promote early literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills development.
  • Conduct regular assessments to track individual progress and tailor instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Establish positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues, maintaining open lines of communication.
  • Collaborate with the EYFS team to develop and enhance the curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the EYFS framework.
  • Monitor and provide feedback on students' progress to parents/guardians, including written reports and parent-teacher meetings.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of best practices in early childhood education.
  • Promote a safe and stimulating learning environment, adhering to safeguarding and health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, specialising in early years education.
  • Proven experience in teaching the EYFS curriculum, ideally within a school setting.
  • Deep understanding of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and assessment procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with young children and parents/guardians.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to work as part of a dedicated team.
  • Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
