Supply Hive is a specialist education recruitment firm, and is working closely with an Ofsted rated ‘good’ secondary school in Slough.
We are currently looking for a teaching assistant to work closely with the SEN and Inclusion team, focusing on children with moderate learning difficulties, Autism Spectrum Condition and Social, Emotional and Mental Health challenges. The school is looking for someone with transferrable skills and experience in the education or social care sector to join their team as soon as possible.
The appropriate applicant will start on a temporary basis, with the potential to move into a permanent role if all goes well and both the school and the teaching assistant are satisfied upon the completion of the probationary period. The main role of this vacancy is to provide additional support for children and young adults aged 11 to 16 years. The role may also entail intervention and tuition in your specialist subject or lower-level English and Maths.
The job does not require any qualifications as long as you have experience working with children, or in a transferable sector such as social care. However, qualifications such as NVQ’s, CACHE, HLTA Quals would be appreciated.
- The pay is £86 per day and you will be paid weekly with no fees payable to agency or payroll. You will be paid via a normal PAYE arrangement.

- An opportunity to go onto a permanent contract if you wish to do so
