We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistant to join our partner school’s Year 3 team. This role involves providing support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to ensure all pupils receive the attention and assistance they need to thrive.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering tailored learning activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN and SEMH needs.
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support the development of students' social skills and emotional well-being.
- Monitor and report on students’ progress to the class teacher and SEN coordinator.
- Assist with classroom management and organisation.
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote a safe learning atmosphere.
- Work collaboratively with the school’s SEN team and other professionals.

Requirements:
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Understanding of SEN and SEMH needs and strategies to support them.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or child care is an advantage.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
