Role Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Supply Teacher to join our team for cover-only roles at a school in West Reading. This role involves stepping in to cover classes as needed, without the responsibility of planning lessons. Your main focus will be on delivering pre-prepared lessons and maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across various subjects and age groups.
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe learning environment.
- Engaging and motivating students to participate in lessons.
- Following school policies and procedures.
- Providing feedback to the regular class teacher on student progress and any issues that arise.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous teaching experience is desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classroom settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for teaching and making a positive impact on students' lives.
