Supply Hive are looking for passionate and creative individuals to support a local school in Maidenhead. The school are looking for someone who matches their visions and values. The successful candidate will be confident and encourage a love for learning, they should also be a nurturing and caring person who adds value to an ever-changing world. Implementing the appropriate safeguarding policies is a vital part of the role, so the candidate should have a good knowledge of how to keep children safe within education. 

This is a full-time temporary role that has the potential to go permanent with a high level of performance. There are a lot of opportunities available with this role as the school are quite flexible. You will be responsible for ensuring that students are focused on their lessons and behaving in an appropriate matter. You will also provide children with support, lead activities and motivate them. As a Teaching Assistant you will often collaborate with the class teacher and work along other support staff to ensure that lessons are well prepped. You will also need to provide accurate feedback to the Class Teacher and the SENCO.

To be successful you should have relevant experience working with children, preferably in a school setting. You should also hold an Enhanced Child DBS. You should also be a patient and considerate individual who is able to calm children and build a professional rapport with them. You should also have a good understanding of of the National Curriculum.
