Are you looking to further your experience working with children?

Supply Hive are currently recruiting an experienced Teaching Assistant for a local school in Bracknell, who are looking for someone to help them in their Specially Resourced Provision. The school are looking for a full-time to start off on a temporary basis, but may consider a permanent position for the right person. This is a class of 10 children who have higher special educational needs and need some more support. You will be assisting them with both their academic and occasionally pastoral needs, you should be a patient individual with a good understanding of how to calm children with behaviour needs.

This role is due to start ASAP and will require you to be responsible for the following:
  • Creating a safe and friendly environment for both the pupils and the staff, where everyone feels welcome.
  • Assisting small groups of children with the academic needs, including leading interactive activities, with support from the class Teacher.
  • Working well in a team to provide as much support as possible for all children.
  • Increasing children's confidence in both their academic and social skills.

To be successful for this role you must have:
  • Experience working with children in a relevant field. Experience working with children with special educational needs are preferred.
  • A valid Enhanced Child DBS.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Right to Work in the UK
