Responsibilities:
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to students who require additional assistance, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their learning goals.
- Assist with the preparation and organisation of classroom resources and materials, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning environment.
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience to effectively support students with diverse learning needs and overcome challenges.
- Relevant qualifications or training in supporting students with SEN, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, is desirable but not essential.
