Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to children who require additional help with their learning.
- Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all children feel supported and encouraged to succeed.
- Support the teacher with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role within a primary school or childcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers.
- A patient and nurturing approach to supporting children's learning and development.
- Knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum and the ability to adapt support strategies to meet the needs of individual children.
- Enhanced DBS disclosure (or willingness to obtain one).
