We are currently recruiting for a KS1 Teaching Assistant position for a local school in Wokingham. The school has an inclusive and welcoming environment that offers a sense of belonging. They are an Ofsted rated 'Good' school and pride themselves on being supportive and nurturing. This is a class based role with occasional SEN support, due to start immediately. The role will begin as temporary but has a lot of potential to become permanent with good performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Teachers in preparing materials and hands-on activities.
- Support classroom management and ensure a positive learning environment for students.
- Provide one-on-one assistance and guidance to students as needed.
- Help maintain and update educational resources, including textbooks and online platforms.
- Participate in occasional training sessions and professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience working with children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for helping others succeed.
