- Assist with the implementation of phonics-based activities to support students in developing strong foundational reading and writing skills.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who may require additional help with phonics or other areas of learning.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported in their learning journey.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in an Early Years or Reception setting.
- Strong phonics skills and a sound understanding of phonics-based teaching methods.
- Enthusiasm for working with young children and a passion for supporting their academic and personal development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of the classroom and provide support where needed.
