Supply Hive are seeking a teaching assistant in Maidenhead due to start ASAP on a temporary basis with potential to go permanent. The successful candidate will be patient and compassionate when providing support and guidance to students. This may involve working with children with special education needs so candidates will need to be inclusive of different learning environments.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the class teacher to support children with their social, emotional and cognitive learning
- Creating a safe and secure learning environment for all students
- Working with a team to develop activities/ learning materials and contribute to school improvements
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with children
- Good communication skills
- A willingness to learn new approaches and teaching methods
- Enhanced DBS
- Eligibility to work in the UK
