We are looking for a creative and adaptable individual who is passionate about working with children.

Supply Hive are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support a small one-form-entry school in Bracknell with a very supportive team. The school work very closely with a couple of their sister schools, so there is a lot of potential to further your career locally. This is currently a temporary role that has the potential to go permanent. It is due to start as soon as possible. The school maintain a fun and exciting learning environment and expect their staff to push the children to strive, make them feel happy and valued as well as give them the best start in life.

Why choose us?
We are a candidate led company that prioritise the needs of our candidates. Supply Hive will ensure you are given the support needed to feel comfortable and confident in your role. This is done through frequent and transparent communication between ourselves, educators and schools.

You will be responsible for managing the behaviour of the children in the class, making sure they remain focused, whilst maintaining a positive learning environment. The school is located around the woodlands, hills, fields and a nearby village pond so you will have the opportunity to lead creative and active learning opportunities, but you will also need to be aware of possible risks. You may be working with children with special needs, so you will need to be a patient and creative individual.

To be successful in this role you must have previous experience working with children as well as have very strong communication and interpersonal skills. You'll often need to collaborate with the class Teacher and lead some activities with a small group of children. You will be expected to support children with their learning so it would be useful to have some knowledge of the curriculum. You will also need an Enhanced Child DBS, which we can support you with if you do not already have one.
