Are you looking to make a positive difference in young children's education? 

Supply Hive are seeking a Teaching Assistant in Wokingham due to start ASAP on a Full Time temporary basis with potential to go permanent. We are currently supporting a larger school in the heart of Wokingham, who are looking for confident and inspirational individuals, who are able to motivate students to become the best version of themselves. The successful candidate will be patient and compassionate when providing support and guidance to students. This may involve working with children with Special Education Needs so candidates will need to be inclusive of different learning environments. 

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with the class teacher to support children with their social, emotional and cognitive learning.
  • Creating a safe and secure learning environment for all students.
  • Working with a team to develop activities/ learning materials and contribute to school improvements.
  • Supporting the class with their daily lessons and ensuring they are focused and behaving appropriately. 
  • You may sometimes be working with small groups of children or working 1:1 with a child to further their academic progress.

Requirements:
  • Relevant experience working with children
  • Good communication skills
  • A willingness to learn new approaches and teaching methods
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
