Responsibilities:
- You will be supporting a year 3 class and occasionally taking out small groups of children, to lead activities.
- You should have good classroom management and behaviour management skills as you will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment.
- You should have a good understanding of the National Curriculum for the correct year group as you will be furthering their educational progress.
- You will also occasionally be supporting children with SEN or SEMH so it is useful to have a basic knowledge of how to provide them the right support.
Requirements:
- You will need to have some experience working with children in a relevant setting.
- You should also have a DBS on the update service.
- You will need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- You will need to be a calm and confident individual who is able to present themselves in a professional matter and maintain the children's safety at all times.
