Supply Hive are currently supporting a lovely school on the West side of Maidenhead, that have a highly supportive team. They are a 2 form-entry school, that helps create better opportunities for all children from Reception to Year 6. They are looking for someone to be an outstanding role model and hold high expectations for all pupils. Responsibilities:
  • You will be supporting a year 3 class and occasionally taking out small groups of children, to lead activities.
  • You should have good classroom management and behaviour management skills as you will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • You should have a good understanding of the National Curriculum for the correct year group as you will be furthering their educational progress.
  • You will also occasionally be supporting children with SEN or SEMH so it is useful to have a basic knowledge of how to provide them the right support.

Requirements:
  • You will need to have some experience working with children in a relevant setting. 
  • You should also have a DBS on the update service.
  • You will need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You will need to be a calm and confident individual who is able to present themselves in a professional matter and maintain the children's safety at all times.
