Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to primary-aged children with special educational needs in the school's enhanced provision class
- Assist the class teacher in implementing individualised education plans and behaviour management strategies
- Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all children feel supported and valued
- Help children to develop academic and social skills through tailored interventions and activities
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of each child
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly in a primary school setting
- Knowledge of various additional needs and strategies for supporting students with diverse needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their goals
