Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Do you thrive in an environment where you can provide targeted support and encouragement to help children reach their full potential? We are now seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and work in a school's enhanced provision with primary-aged children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to primary-aged children with special educational needs in the school's enhanced provision class
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing individualised education plans and behaviour management strategies
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all children feel supported and valued
  • Help children to develop academic and social skills through tailored interventions and activities
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of each child
  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly in a primary school setting
  • Knowledge of various additional needs and strategies for supporting students with diverse needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their goals
