You’ll work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver tailored learning and behavioural support. Your presence will play a crucial role in helping this young learner access the curriculum, build confidence, and enjoy their school experience to the fullest.
Responsibilities 📝
- Provide 1:1 support for a child with SEN in a Year 1 classroom
- Implement individual learning and behaviour plans
- Foster a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Support with daily classroom activities and transitions
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCo, and parents
- Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a primary setting
- Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Committed to full-time work and available to start ASAP
- Passionate about supporting young learners
If you carry out a long-term Class Teacher role with Supply Hive, you will be paid to your MPS.
