We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 or 2 Class Teacher to join our team on a long-term basis until the Summer holidays. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the needs of our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum, fostering a love for learning in every child.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular projects and enrichment activities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, building strong partnerships to support student learning and well-being.
  • Uphold school policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and welfare of all students at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 or 2) is desirable but not essential for NQTs.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to creating an inspiring and nurturing learning environment.
