Are you a driven and dedicated teaching who is looking for a new role in which you can support young children in KS1? We are currently seeking a Y1 Teaching assistant to join a lovely primary school in High Wycombe! If you have any relevant qualifications, previous experience working with children OR are just eager to get into education, we want to hear from you!
We are looking for people who:
  • Are confident in their ability to work with young children.
  • Can cultivate a creative and fun learning environment.
  • Are extroverted, friendly and have great people skills.
  • Are adaptable and can accommodate ever-changing classroom environments.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning and delivering classroom activities.
  • Oversee break and lunchtime activities.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group assistance to children.
  • Monitor learner behaviour and development to relay feedback to the teacher.
Requirements
  • Previous relevant experience working with children in a classroom setting.
  • A genuine passion for education and childcare.
  • Ability to cultivate a positive and creative learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
  • A level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is preferred, but not essential.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check on the update service is required to work with children.
  • Skills that relate to childcare and working with children.
Pay: £80-£86 per day, PAYE
