Role Overview: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join our team in our Slough Primary School. As a vital member of the educational community, you will provide invaluable support to both teachers and students, fostering a nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Year 1 teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help.
- Help with classroom management and organisation.
- Prepare and set up materials and resources for lessons and activities.
- Support the social and emotional development of students.
- Experience working as a teaching assistant, preferably in a Year 1 setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both students and staff.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting the growth and development of young learners.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards challenges.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare are desirable.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well as the Right to Work in the UK. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
