Role Overview: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join our team in our Slough Primary School. As a vital member of the educational community, you will provide invaluable support to both teachers and students, fostering a nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Year 1 teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help.
  • Help with classroom management and organisation.
  • Prepare and set up materials and resources for lessons and activities.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students.
Requirements:
  • Experience working as a teaching assistant, preferably in a Year 1 setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both students and staff.
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting the growth and development of young learners.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards challenges.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare are desirable.
