We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Supply Hive. The role is based in a lovely school on the south side of Bracknell. As a Year 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective learning experiences for students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to students in Year 2, both in the classroom and during independent learning activities.
  • Assisting the class teacher in planning and preparing resources for lessons, including activities and displays.
  • Supporting the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and interventions to meet the specific needs of students.
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued.
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour management strategies as directed by the class teacher.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within a primary school setting.
  • A passion for working with children and a commitment to supporting their academic and personal development.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to support students in their learning across the curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to working with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
