Key Responsibilities:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students in Year 2, both in the classroom and during independent learning activities.
- Assisting the class teacher in planning and preparing resources for lessons, including activities and displays.
- Supporting the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and interventions to meet the specific needs of students.
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued.
- Assisting with classroom management and behaviour management strategies as directed by the class teacher.
- Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within a primary school setting.
- A passion for working with children and a commitment to supporting their academic and personal development.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to support students in their learning across the curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
- A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to working with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
