We are looking for a confident and passionate teacher for a Year 4 class based in Maidenhead with an interest for supporting and motivating students. This is a temporary role due to start ASAP with the potential to go permanent, where successful candidates are able to create nurturing and inclusive learning environments. The school are open to both full-time and part-time applicants, so this would suit both those looking for a stable yet flexible role. As a one form-entry school, they are a very friendly and inclusive school. You will work alongside a supportive and dedicated team who will help facilitate a positive classroom atmosphere. Responsibilities:
  • Having knowledge of the National Curriculum for Year 4 students and be able to plan, prepare and deliver engaging and stimulating lessons that allow for both academic and personal growth.
  • If you are not looking to take on full Teacher responsibilities - the school are open to a cover only option, where all of the planning is already done for you. 
  • Creating a safe and secure learning environment for all students including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Work with a team to develop activities, formal assessments and contribute to school improvements
Requirements:
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Experience teaching at Primary education level
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with students, colleagues and parents.
The successful candidate will be confident, passionate and have a strong level of initiative to adapt and create high quality learning opportunities for students that are inclusive of all children.
