In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the class teacher with organising resources and scaffolding the learning to meet the needs of all children in the class. You will also regularly work alongside 1:1 Teaching Assistants who are supporting a child in the class with SEN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to children in their academic and social development
- Contribute to the organisation and management of the classroom
- Prepare and arrange educational materials and resources for lessons and activities
- Support the social and emotional well-being of the children, promoting positive relationships and a sense of belonging
- Previous experience working as a teaching assistant, preferably in a KS2 setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment supporting children in their learning
- Adaptability, flexibility, and a positive attitude towards challenges
- Relevant qualifications or training in childhood education or childcare are advantageous
