As a Year 6 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing progress, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the needs of students in Year 6.
- Assess progress through assessment methods and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Create a positive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and schemes of work.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to provide updates on student progress and support their involvement in their child's education.
- Participate in school-wide events and activities and contribute to the wider life of the school community.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 5/6
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
