We are looking for a skilled and driven Year 6 Class Teacher to join our dynamic team at our junior school in Slough.

Responsibilities
- Create and present interesting and innovative lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum.
- Encourage students' intellectual, social, and emotional development by creating a welcoming and inclusive learning environment in the classroom.
- Establish high standards for behaviour and academic performance in students, and provide them the assistance and direction they need to reach them.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to children and parents.
- Work together to create and carry out cross-curricular projects and activities with colleagues.
- Retain good communication with parents, answering any worries they may have promptly and providing updates on their child's development.
- Participate in staff meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities to give back to the larger school community.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or its equivalent, with previous Key Stage 2 teaching experience (preferable year 6 experience).
- A solid grasp of the national curriculum and an awareness of successful primary education teaching techniques.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills to foster a good rapport with coworkers, parents, and students.
- Efficient behaviour management in the classroom and the ability to create a supportive learning environment.
