1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Bracknell, Full time, Immediate start

A welcoming Bracknell school is looking for a patient, caring 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs, e.g. autism / SEMH / communication difficulties. You'll help them access learning, build confidence and make progress each day.

What you'll do

• Support one pupil in lessons and during break and lunch
• Follow the class teacher's and SENCo's plans, including any EHCP targets
• Use calming and communication strategies
• Celebrate progress and report back to staff

What we're looking for

• Experience with children with SEN, in a school, nursery, care or home setting
• Patience, resilience and a positive attitude
• Good communication and teamwork
• Training such as Team Teach or Autism Awareness is a bonus, but not essential
