About the Role
We’re working alongside a vibrant secondary school in Maidenhead that’s looking for a Cover Supervisor to step into an important role within their team. Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher.
- Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Support students with their learning, encouraging engagement and participation.
- Ensure that work is completed to a high standard and handed back to teachers for feedback.
- Uphold the school’s values and safeguarding expectations at all times.
- Experience working with young people (school, youth work, tutoring, coaching, etc.).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour in a calm and positive manner.
- A genuine interest in supporting students’ learning and development.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Consistent work within a supportive and inclusive school environment.
