About the Role
Supply Hive are working with a fantastic mainstream secondary school in Slough who are seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their Design & Technology department from January 2026. As the Food Technology Teacher, you’ll be delivering engaging practical and theory lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school encourages innovative teaching and provides excellent facilities, including a fully equipped food room and strong technical support.

As the Food Technology Teacher, you’ll be delivering engaging practical and theory lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school encourages innovative teaching and provides excellent facilities, including a fully equipped food room and strong technical support.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons that inspire and motivate students.
- Prepare resources and practical lessons safely and effectively.
- Track and assess student progress, providing feedback to support development.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the DT department and across the wider school.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 level.
- Strong classroom management and a nurturing approach.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the Food Preparation & Nutrition curriculum.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
