About the Role
We are working with a welcoming primary school looking for a confident and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a passion for Computing and digital learning. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting pupils across the school while helping to develop and deliver engaging computing lessons. You will work closely with class teachers to deliver small group and whole-class sessions, support the integration of technology in the classroom, and inspire pupils to develop their digital skills in a safe and creative environment.
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting classroom teachers and helping students achieve their full potential. You will work closely with children across a variety of age groups, including those with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they have the tools and confidence to succeed in their studies.

- Deliver planned lessons and cover classes across the school, with a particular focus on Computing
- Support teachers with the planning and delivery of engaging and interactive lessons
- Help pupils develop key digital skills, including coding, online safety, and the use of educational technology
- Provide targeted support for pupils who may need extra help with learning tasks
Requirements
- HLTA qualification or significant experience working at HLTA level in a primary school
- Strong understanding of the primary Computing curriculum
- Confident delivering lessons and managing a classroom when required
- A proactive, flexible approach and passion for supporting children’s learning
