About the Role
Supply Hive are working with a dynamic training campus in High Wycombe that supports 15-25 year olds who haven’t thrived in mainstream education. The setting is practical, hands-on and small-group based, helping learners build skills, confidence and progress toward employment, further training or supported independence.
The role:
You’ll support learners one-to-one or in small groups, often with an EHCP, across vocational and life-skills programmes such as motor-mechanics, hair & beauty, computing, sports and construction. You’ll work alongside specialist tutors and behaviour-aware staff, helping to create safe, positive classroom environments and supporting personal, social, emotional and academic growth.
You’ll need to:
If you’re ready to join a training setting that offers more than a standard TA role—where you’ll have real impact and support learners who’ve not had the easiest start—send us your CV with a brief covering note about why this role appeals.

You’ll need to:
- Be calm, resilient, flexible and committed to supporting learners who’ve had complex educational journeys.
- Have experience of working with young people with SEND, SEMH or who are disengaged from mainstream education.
- Be excellent at building rapport, supporting learning routines, promoting independence and working closely with the teaching team.
- Contribute to classroom strategies, positive behaviour systems and help with practical, vocational tasks.
- A small, focused setting—classes and groups are smaller than typical college settings so you’ll genuinely see the difference you make.
- Variety: learners follow different vocational pathways, so you’ll support across a broad range of subjects and activities—good if you enjoy hands-on work and versatility.
- A supportive and collaborative team: you’ll be part of a specialist support setting where everyone’s committed to helping young people who’ve struggled elsewhere.
- An opportunity to help unlock potential: many learners arrive lacking confidence or qualifications, and you’ll help them build a meaningful next step.
