Supply Hive are in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive primary school nestled in the heart of Bracknell, Berkshire, who are looking for a 1:1 TA to support their children with SEN. Committed to providing high-quality education for all our students, they strive to create an environment where every child can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate KS1 SEN 1:1 Support Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with a specific pupil who requires additional support due to special educational needs (SEN). You will play a crucial role in helping the pupil to access the curriculum, develop essential skills, and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one support and assistance to a KS1 pupil with SEN.
  • Implement individualised learning plans and strategies tailored to the pupil's needs.
  • Support the pupil in class activities, ensuring their engagement and understanding.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor the pupil's progress and provide feedback to the SENCO and class teacher.
  • Collaborate with other staff members and external professionals involved in the pupil's support.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a school setting.
  • Understanding of KS1 curriculum and educational strategies.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours: This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, during school hours.
